Health Sciences North (HSN) is seeking Social Worker Masters with skills in a range of individual, family and group therapies as well as experiential therapies, who can demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other health care professionals. As a Social Worker Masters you will have the opportunity to assess, treat and counsel children, adolescents, adults and families using your knowledge and understanding of principles of recovery, as it applies to eating disorders treatment. The ideal candidate would have a proven knowledge and understanding of best practices as it relates to Eating Disorders, Concurrent Disorders and Collaborative Addiction and Mental Health Services as well as proven in-depth knowledge of psychological factors affecting eating disorder clients.

The successful candidate must have a Master’s degree in Social Work (BSW with five (5) years recent experience in Eating Disorders will be considered). They must also be registered in good standing as a Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
